This thread will be devoted to players who retire from matches and players who may retire in their next match due to niggling injuries or whatever. Some books grade wagers after the 1st set, some books grade wagers after two sets have been completed and some books grade wagers after the 1st ball has been played or whoever advances. When you're handicapping games or betting on the total number of games, then the match must be completed in its entirety for the wager to stand.
Today I had Kuznetsova -2.5 and the Over - 22 games. Both wagers were cancelled because Dementieva retired in the 3rd set. I would have been better off just taking the moneyline on Sveta or Elena to win the 1st set.
